“Mahogany are a brave exception” — NME

Mahogany dovetails elements of post-punk, shoegaze, disco and classical into futuristic, architectural, symphonic compositions. Duo Andrew Prinz and Jaclyn Slimm combine vocals, twin 12-string guitars, massive bass, densely-sequenced rhythms, and a variety of synthesizers and samplers for an immersive effect known as the "Hypercube."

The Mahogany discography already comprises two critically-acclaimed full-length albums The Dream of the Modern Day and Connectivity!, as well as numerous singles, EPs and compilation tracks collected on the double-disc set Memory Column: Early Works and Rarities 1996-2004. While producing, designing and remixing for artists including Ulrich Schnauss, Auburn Lull, The Veldt, Lovesliescrushing, Aerofall, and Pinkshinyultrablast, more recent Mahogany work includes the expansive 8-minute maxi-single “Phase Break.”

Performing live with artists like Anika, Jonathan Bree, Vampire Weekend, Spoon, Bloc Party, Interpol, Luna, Broadcast, and many others, Mahogany garners reviews and features in Pitchfork, The Wire, The New York Times, NME, Guardian, ZOO Magazine, NYLON Japan, MOJO, Record Collector and more.
